Höhepunkte Embark on a journey to Iceland and experience its magic in any season – whether that’s soaking up the midnight sun or searching for the Northern Lights! Take in a few of Iceland’s most iconic views on your way to Snaefellsness, then get to know Iceland horses at your farm stay. Get the hottest tickets in town and learn all about volcanos complete with real flowing lava at the award-winning Lava Show in Vik. There's a lot more to Iceland than ice and vikings. Follow the scenic 'Golden Circle', visiting geothermal springs and geysers, the mighty waterfall of Gullfoss and the site of the nation's first parliament at Thingvellir. Learn why Iceland is known as the land of the sagas as you hear tall tales of elves and trolls and make your very own Skrimsli (an Icelandic wool monster). By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Intrepid Foundation partner, SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary in the Westman Islands. Donations help them in their work with rescuing local puffins as well as rehabilitation of these and two rescued beluga whales, which were previously performing in captivity in an aquarium in Shanghai. Intrepid will double the impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Intrepid Foundation.
