Capitale de l'Islande, Reykjavik est encore une petite ville. Les maisons sont majoritairement en bois et très colorées. L'église est la principale attraction dans un pays où la nature signifie tout. Vous pourrez - bien sûr - vous baigner dans l'une des sources chaudes naturelles et choisir de garder votre linge (ou non).

Gullfoss signifie "cascade dorée" et c'est en effet une vue magnifique. L'une des plus belles cascades d'Islande.

Jökulsárlón est un grand lac glaciaire dans la partie sud du parc national de Vatnajökull.

Landmannalaugar is at the edge of a large lava field and known for its natural geothermal hot springs, colors and surrounding landscape.

Mývatn (*lac aux moustiques*) est un petit lac situé dans une zone de volcanisme actif au nord de l'Islande, près du volcan Krafla. Le lac a été créé par une grande éruption de lave basaltique il y a 2 300 ans et le paysage environnant est dominé par des reliefs volcaniques, notamment des piliers de lave, des fumerolles et des mares de boue chaude.

La Skógafoss est l'une des plus grandes cascades d'Islande avec une largeur de 25 mètres et une chute de 60 m.

Þingvellir était le site du parlement annuel de l'Islande de 930 après JC jusqu'en 1798 après JC. C'est vraiment un site de campagne, qui fait partie du Cercle d'Or.
