Intrepid Travel has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1989. A company that began with two bearded backpackers, a typewriter and a kitchen table now leads 100,000 travellers across the globe each year.

Thimpu

The Capital of Bhutan (approx. 80´000 inhabitants) is quite relaxing like the rest of Bhutan. The main government buildings are here, shared with Buddhist monasteries. You may find locals practicing the national sports of Archery (bow and long arrow). There are some REALLY nice hotels, like the heritage hotel and the Taj - but not cheap.

Paro

Paro

Paro is where most visitors will enter the Kingdom of Bhutan, because it hosts the international airport. Yet, Paro is a small city with a few hotels and the main tourist attraction in Bhutan: the Tiger´s Nest Monastery - an easy trek.

Punakha adalah salah satu dong dengan "balai kota/biara" tradisional yang megah.

Dochula Pass

Dochula Pass

Dochu La Pass adalah jalur pegunungan di Himalaya yang tertutup salju di Bhutan dalam perjalanan dari Thimphu ke Punakha.
