Highlight Cruise between islands and islets around Kekova and marvel at the fascinating submerged ruins on a relaxing boat trip. Enjoy diving off the boat and into the clear waters of the Mediterranean to swim. Squeeze into the steep sided Saklikent Gorge and then scramble over the rocks to cool off with the kids in the melted snow of the Taurus Mountains.  Feel ancient history come to life on the Lycian Coast with a day trip to Xanthos and its surrounds – a site of fierce struggles and great battles from decades past. Visit the eerie ghost village of Kayakoy and discover why it was abandoned in 1923 – this spot might be a favourite for the kids, as it’s a pretty amazing photo spot with an interesting history of religious segregation.   Learn how to make local favourite gozleme for lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy hearty, traditional Turkish breakfasts every day and tour markets to pick up some Turkish sweets – yum! By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Intrepid Foundation partner, CYDD (Çağdaş Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği). Donations help them provide scholarships and educational programs for economically disadvantaged youth in Turkey.
